Eye surgery
Cataract surgery is a procedure performed to treat cataracts. Cataracts are a condition in which the natural lens of the eye becomes cloudy, affecting the person’s vision. This surgery is typically performed for elderly individuals or those who have experienced significant vision loss due to cataracts.
Vitrectomy is a surgical procedure in which part or all of the vitreous gel inside the eye is removed. The vitreous is the gel-like substance that fills the space between the lens and the retina, helping to maintain the shape of the eye. Vitrectomy is typically performed to treat serious issues such as internal bleeding in the eye, retinal tears, infections, or other retinal problems
Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) is a surgical procedure performed to treat blockages in the tear duct. The tear duct is responsible for draining tears from the eye into the nose, and when it becomes blocked, issues such as chronic eye infections or continuous tearing may occur. This surgery is performed to either open the blocked duct or create a new pathway for the drainage of tears from the eye into the nose.
