Neurosurgery
Laminectomy is a surgical procedure performed to remove a portion of the lamina (the bony layer located at the back of the vertebrae). This surgery is typically done to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or nerve roots, which may result from issues such as a herniated disc, spinal stenosis, or compressed bones.
Spinal Disc Replacement Surgery is a procedure in which a damaged disc in the lower back is replaced with an artificial or synthetic disc. This surgery is typically performed when the disc between the vertebrae is damaged or diseased, such as in cases of a herniated disc, and causes severe pain or mobility issues in the back.
